Seminar Series: BC Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations Resilience and Adaptation

This spring the British Columbia Ministry of Forests Lands and Natural Resource Operations is sponsoring a seminar series on Future Forest Ecosystems Scientific Council projects at their Blanshard St, Victoria location,  (PO Box 9515 Stn Prov Govt Second Floor 1520 Blanshard Street Victoria BC V8W 9C2, Google Maps ). Topics on the horizon:

Tuesday February, 14th at 11 am, Emina Krcmar of UBC will be presenting on the uncertainty associated with the adaptation to climate change in forest management, including case studies.

Thursday, March 4th, Allan Carroll will talk about predicting forest insect disturbance under climate change.

Tuesday, March 14th, Chuck Bulmer will discuss BEC modeling to support regional vulnerability assessments and assisted migration.
